The colour is magnificent, golden yellow with a beautiful depth, especially for a young wine. The few yellow glints of serine confirm its youthfulness. The nose, with a great delicacy, combines the impressions of ripe white fruits (peaches, apricots...), then the sweet and vanilla aromas of its barrel ageing, and a floral hint of lime tree, so characteristic of Chenin. The palate is round, velvety, dry, but almost tender, because the grapes were so ripe. The finish is dynamic, lively and invigorating.
A wine with the aromas of its king Loire grape variety, as Curnonsky, prince of gourmets, knew so well how to describe it.
