Château Camille Gaucheraud
Clairet 2018 - Rosé

Bordeaux, Bordeaux Clairet

Château Camille Gaucheraud - Clairet

Very beautiful presentation of a deep redcurrant colour, clear and brilliant. The very elegant nose evokes small, acidic red berries (redcurrant, wild strawberry, blackcurrant), with a pleasant smell of fresh bread. The palate, initially fresh, lively and slightly pearly, reveals a good volume with fat and amplitude until the finish where the fruity flavours persist for a long time.

Wine information

When ?

A wine to share, to go out for a barbecue with friends!

How ?

It goes very well with good grilled pork skewers, red meat on the grill or a summer vegetable pie.

The Wine Estate

Located in the commune of Laruscade, Château Camille Gaucheraud takes its name from our great-great grandfather, a cooper by trade, and our vines are grown on a soil that combines gravel and clay for red grape varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) and sand to concentrate the Sauvignon fruit. The average age of the vineyard is 25 years. Located on a hill surrounded by hills, the property benefits from an exposure to the sun...
