Château Camille Gaucheraud
Fût de Chêne 2012 - Rouge

Bordeaux, Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux

Château Camille Gaucheraud - Fût de Chêne

Very beautiful dark and intense garnet colour, of good clarity. The complex bouquet develops aromas of cooked red fruits and prunes, combined with beautiful woody aromas of smoke and toasted bread with a fresh touch of liquorice. The palate is supple, round and fleshy, and reveals beautiful ripe and velvety tannins in an elegant balance between acidity and sweetness, until the long, tasty and fruity finish.

The word of the Winemaker, :

A supple wine with mellow tannins, enhanced by the passage into barrels.

The Wine Estate

Located in the commune of Laruscade, Château Camille Gaucheraud takes its name from our great-great grandfather, a cooper by trade, and our vines are grown on a soil that combines gravel and clay for red grape varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) and sand to concentrate the Sauvignon fruit. The average age of the vineyard is 25 years. Located on a hill surrounded by hills, the property benefits from an exposure to the sun...

The opinion of Ambassadors

Un bordeaux qu'on apprécie à l'apéro avec de la viande fumée ! Des arômes de fruits noirs avec des parfums toastés, un bon rapport qualité-prix pour ce bordeaux très agréable à boire..
