The bouquet is floral, with notes of fruit, gourmet with a beautiful aromatic richness and light and pleasant devolution notes.

The word of the Winemaker, :

A gourmet chardonnay with a beautiful aromatic richness, light and pleasant devolution notes. Aged on lees in vats, it expresses its primary aromas as best as possible. It is ample and surprising in its salinity and length.

The Wine Estate

Château de Rougeon has been a family estate for 6 generations, bicentenary, located on the Côte Chalonnaise in the commune of Bissey Sous Cruchaud. One of the oldest wine-growing villages in Burgundy. The vines surrounding the château, on the tops of the hillsides, enjoy an optimal exposure, terroir and climate. This ideal combination allows the grape varieties to fully assert their identities.
