Château de Rougeon
Bourgogne Chardonnay 2013 - Blanc

Bourgogne, Bourgogne

Château de Rougeon - Bourgogne Chardonnay

The bouquet is floral, with notes of fruit.

The word of the Winemaker, :

Lively and fresh, aged in vats on lees, it reveals aromas of fruit with yellow flesh. A gourmet chardonnay with a beautiful aromatic richness, ample and surprising for its salinity and length.

Great success during aperitifs. It will be very pleasant on a seafood platter as well as on white meats and cooked cheese.

The Wine Estate

Château de Rougeon has been a family estate for 6 generations, bicentenary, located on the Côte Chalonnaise in the commune of Bissey Sous Cruchaud. One of the oldest wine-growing villages in Burgundy. The vines surrounding the château, on the tops of the hillsides, enjoy an optimal exposure, terroir and climate. This ideal combination allows the grape varieties to fully assert their identities.
