Chateau des Moriers
Le Moulin-à-Vent 2013 - Rouge

Beaujolais, Moulin-à-Vent

Chateau des Moriers - Le Moulin-à-Vent

The most serious of our Beaujolais wines, a light but very present structure with a beautiful material provided by the breeding. The ripe fruit is joined by a lot of freshness and a few peppery notes. Charming and elegant.

The word of the Winemaker, :

He's the boss's favorite, my father pampers him and makes only 1,000 bottles. It is aged in barrels of one to three wines in our cellar under the house. A little larger (400L) than the classic Burgundian, they allow to better integrate the wood into the wine.

The Wine Estate

It is at Château de Moriers that Gilles developed a new way of ageing Moulin à Vent wines that gives them a unique appearance and taste. This appellation is known as the oldest in Beaujolais. It is Gilles, accompanied by his daughter Anne-Victoire, aka Miss Vicky Wine, a renowned blogger in the vineyards who offers you wines that are faithful to their Beaujolais terroir.
