Dark colour, purplish reflections. Nose marked by maturing tonalities, especially sweet spices. Same thing in the mouth, the tannins are polished but the aromatic palette is dominated by a woody note with exotic accents (vanilla, nutmeg).
A great vintage (the earliest in our region for 50 years) : Merlot, and a selection of old vines : Everything you need to make a great wine : That's why we call it the Great Wine !

Perfect with meats such as lamb chaplains or guinea fowl legs. Also goes well with game such as pheasant pie. And why not drink it from Naturel, with a good slice of organic wholemeal bread and a fruity Comté or a Pyrenean cheese?
