Château La Renaudie
Château La Renaudie 2015 - Rouge

Sud-Ouest, Pécharmant

Château La Renaudie - Château La Renaudie

Olfactory: the first powerful nose with intense fruity notes (blackcurrant, redcurrant and raspberry) and vanilla. The ageing in the woods still slightly marks the nose but the aromatic freshness prevails. Gustativerment the attack is very ample on the toasted and fruity character, with a beautiful complexity. Very nice material with well-balanced tannins. The woody, rather delicate, is perfectly integrated, and beautiful fruity notes appear. The finish is long, and supported by a beautiful, slightly salty tension.

The Wine Estate

Château de la Renaudie is a 100 hectare property, whose 18th century Château is in the heart of these 42 hectares of vines and is the largest estate in the Pécharmant appellation. It is also an old residence of the De Foucault family and a former relay of the Way of Saint James of Compostella! These hills dominate Bergerac and its valley. The clayey-limestone and ferruginous soil gives a unique character to the region...
