Château de Myrat - Château de Myrat

Château de Myrat is an 18th century family estate of 22 hectares of vines in one piece, and is at the top of the Second Great Classified Growths list in 1855. On the wine side, an orange colour, a candied nose with citrus fruit notes, freshness and liveliness. A fruity, spicy wine with a lot of minerality and a beautiful length. An elegant and balanced wine. A wine full of aromas and finesse!

The word of the Winemaker, :

As the Italians say, it is a wine that is self-sufficient, a "vino da meditazione".

The Wine Estate

Château de Myrat, Grand Cru Classé de Sauternes in 1855, is located in Barsac near Bordeaux. Owned by the Pontac family since 1937, it is now Elisabeth and Slanie, Max de Pontac's granddaughters, who take over the estate in order to safeguard this wonderful heritage and perpetuate a family tradition that goes back more than 400 years since it was in the 16th century that Jean de Pontac created the Domaine de Haut-Brion.
