Chateau Saint-Hilaire - Château Saint-Hilaire

Powerful and fruity on the palate with good ageing potential. Notice to amateurs...

The word of the Winemaker, :

The 2009 vintage at its peak. Complex, rich, elegant, with aromas of blackcurrant and violet with a fine roasted woody note.

Tasting

When ?

Ideal to drink today, but for the most patient, it is an excellent wine to keep (suitable for ageing until 2030). Serve between 17° and 18°C.

How ?

Very appreciated during the meal, with red meat or cheese. The perfect match: with Saint-Nectaire!

The Wine Estate

Created in 1995 by Adrien and his wife Fabienne Uijttewaal, Château Saint-Hilaire is a 58ha family estate classified as a Cru Bourgeois. Thanks to the magnificent gravelly soils overlooking the Gironde estuary, the respectful and traditional work in the cellar, the wines are fine, elegant, fruity and of course... very good to keep. Pleasant wines, simply to share!
