Domaine Anne Gros et Jean-Paul Tollot
L'O de La Vie 2017 - Rouge

Domaine Anne Gros et Jean-Paul Tollot - L'O de La Vie

O de La Vie vibrates in its flesh and slightly spicy black fruit. It is a crystalline wine with a deep colour that reveals a strong and harmonious character. Its melted tannins allow it to be enjoyed in its early youth. We now classify it as a Minervois Cazelles appellation and thus join the classification of La Ciaude and Les Carrétals on the extraordinary terroir of the Agel limestone exposed to the South.

The word of the Winemaker, :

This wine is made from a 9-year-old Syrah vine born on the slopes of the Ruisseau de la Vie. Its tiny elegance makes us discover this grape variety associated with a 20-year-old Grenache. It is a complete and balanced wine, precise and thirst-quenching.

The Wine Estate

It was in 2006 that Anne Gros, 6th generation of a family of winegrowers in Vosne Romanée in Burgundy, and Jean Paul Tollot, 5th generation of a family of winegrowers in Chorey les Beaune, discovered a small corner lost in the far northeast of the Minervois: Cazelles. It is a real favorite for its unique clay-limestone soils (the limestones of Agel, those that sing under our feet), its marls and sandstones of Assignan. Its position at 220 mè....
