Its yellow colour has pretty golden shades. On the nose, the aromas blend into a harmonious complexity of stewed fruits (apricots) and especially exotic fruits (pineapple, guavas, lemons, mangos). The vanilla note of its ageing gives a touch of sweetness. In the mouth, the attack is rich, sweet and suave, with aromatic complexity dominated by exotic fruits that reinforce vivacity and structural freshness.
A wine of great sweetness and delicacy.
For an exceptional moment, on beautifully cooked dishes. How ?
The 2010 Château Rousset wine is perfectly balanced, it goes well with many dishes. Perfect with goose or duck foie gras, semi-cooked or fried, salads of candied gizzards and duck breasts, white meats, some soft-fleshed fish, accompanied by a Coteaux de l'Aubance creamy reduction sauce. It will also be delicious with blue-veined cheeses, with pear slices in syrup if possible, and with desserts such as hot tatin pies.
Une robe jaune doré pour ce cépage étonnant (le chenin) et de la passion pour ce vin soyeux.
