Domaine Labruyère
Le Clos du Moulin-à-Vent Monopole 2008 - Rouge

Beaujolais, Beaujolais

Domaine Labruyère - Le Clos du Moulin-à-Vent Monopole

Beautiful ruby red colour with garnet tints. Liquorice, vanilla, cocoa, undergrowth nose. Structured palate, small red fruits, silky tannins. Spicy mid-palate typical of the 2008 vintage. A great wine with a beautiful texture, on a very elegant finish.

The word of the Winemaker, :

The only Monopoly of the Appellation, this 92 ares parcel is ideally located just in front of the Moulin, symbol of the Cru. Rough and arid granitic rump, this unique terroir gives an incomparable Gamay offering one of the finest French wines, cut for ageing.

The Wine Estate

Domaine Labruyère is one of the oldest representatives of the Moulin-à-Vent appellation, which takes its name from the Moulin at its heart. Jean-Marie Labruyère, a wine-growing worker, settled in 1850 on this exceptional terroir and began production. Since then, the different generations have succeeded each other and are committed to promoting the wines of this unique estate.
