La cave du maître de poste
Cuvée 1577 2016 - Blanc

La cave du maître de poste - Cuvée 1577

Produced from the clay-limestone soils of the Yonne, this cuvée is 100% made from the Chardonnay grape variety and matured on fine lees in oak barrels. It is characterized by an intense nose and a beautiful mouth with aromas of white flowers, vanilla and punctuated by a honey finish. Cuvée 1577 can be drunk young for its power and liveliness but will express more roundness and mineral finesse after 2 years at stations.

The Wine Estate

Formerly a stagecoach relay, the estate saw Casanova change horses in June 1750. On his return from the Island of Elba, Napoleon I stopped there on March 17, 1815. Alexandre Dumas was a regular guest of the notary Charpillon, deputy mayor of Saint Bris who was his electoral agent, and in addition to our history, we know each of our soils and basements, where we adopt each foot planted to control its appearance as much as possible....
