On the nose, one can guess red fruits and slightly vanilla spices. On the palate, the oakiness appears well melted to allow the fruit to express itself, with a support of dense and tight tannins. A wine of substance, very complete and balanced.

To be enjoyed now. Les Terres Chaudes will reach its peak in 2019/2020. Can be kept for 15 years in a good cellar. Serve between 17° and 18°.

How ?

Serve with good red meat, game or cheese, young or old, at your convenience!

The Wine Estate

Château Les Hauts de Caillevel is an 18-hectare vineyard located in Pomport, in the south of Bergerac, in the Dordogne. The 11 grape varieties, grown on Karstic rocks of the Monbazillac plateau and on clayey-limestone slopes, give each of our wines their uniqueness, substance and aromas. In order to cultivate the vine in a balanced ecosystem, we produce with passion an organic and lively wine.




Ce vin est un vrai délice, je n'arrive plus à m'en passer!!! moi, j'y trouve le gout des Antilles (vanille? épices?) et je l'aime avec un ou deux amis, en commentant ses effets fluctuants en bouche et face a un plateau de fromages affinés (locaux c'est mieux). hummmm la vie est belle!


Bel bel équilibre en bouche!




Une cuvée un peu bonbon au nez, mais très agréable en bouche idéal avec un fromage de brebis
