Deep garnet colour. Mint nose, red fruits, spices, toasted notes, cocoa, woody base. Sweet attack, supple and powerful on the palate, where the fruit is present. Tight tannins. The whole is harmonious. To keep in the cellar again.
Acquired in 2008 by Philippe Bartdet, Château Franc Le Maine is located southeast of the town of Saint-Laurent des Combes. Created in the 15th century, this Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation vineyard, nicknamed "La belle endormie", has benefited from extensive drainage and drainage works.
With a colour ranging from dark ruby to purple, Château Franc le Maine reveals a fresh, dynamic and expressive nose. With an elegant and persistent palate, it is appreciated for its density, balance and length.
Perfect with red meats (cooked or grilled) and cheeses but also chocolate desserts.
