Tout ce que vous avez toujours voulu savoir sur le vin sans jamais oser le demander

Exclusively, we offer adapted solutions to the most sportive of our wine tourists, in order for them to combine their passion and the discovery of wines and the winegrowers’ job. Here are some of them.

The Baux-de-Provence car rally

Don’t you know anything about wine or cars? No problem! This car rally is suitable for young and old, between visits to cellars and oil mills. With family or friends, the winegrowers open you their cellars. Thus, the Baux-de-Provence label becomes yours for a weekend. You will discover its terroir and traditions throughout three different routes, each marked by breaks in three wine estates and an oil mill.

Domaine Dalmeran, Château Romanin or Mas de Gourgonnier will open their doors for a weekend. Each team will be composed of 2 to 5 people and will try to answer the quiz that the participants will give at the end of the course.

The Medoc Marathon

Since 1985, thousands of runners have been running each year in September for 42.2 kilometres of pure pleasure. From Pauillac, you will have the opportunity to taste the most prestigious appellations of the Bordeaux Wine Route such as Saint-Estèphe, Saint-Julien or Haut-Médoc. Thanks to this must-attend event, which brought together nearly 8,000 people in 2017, you can run in a relaxed atmosphere.

What’s planned ? 42 kilometers of fun with … special breaks ! French people and over 3,000 foreign participants will be able to discover the region’s Crus at 23 stands scattered along the route. You will be welcomed by an orchestra and an oenologist (present on each of the 23 stands) who will make you appreciate the French South-West terroir. To your sneakers!

The ‘4 hours Wine Rally’: oenotouristic student event

Hundreds of participants will launch this year for the 27th edition of this great event. Organized by the KEDGE Business School Wine Association, this car rally intelligently combines castle visits and discovery of the region through several enigmas. Let’s be environmentally friendly : you will have to travel as few kilometres as possible to go from a vineyard to another ! This is how the event earned the ecofest label last year !

All along the way, you will appreciate the landscapes of Bordeaux, opened windows, wind in your hair and the excitement of your taste buds. Your wine tourism weekend will be punctuated by disguised evenings on the theme of wine, an inter-crew meal and a big dinner at the end of the rally.

Do you like to meet people, old school Jaguar and wine from Bordeaux ? This event is for you!
