Finished the public holidays and extended weekends of May but also finished (hopefully) this gloomy weather that pulls us to the bottom of the couch. Let us be optimistic: June will be a generous month in the sun and we will finally be able to conquer the estates and events of our beautiful provincial cities. And since June is the month of the music festival, it is quite natural that L'agenda du vin invites you to leave Paris to enjoy jazz or classical music concerts in our beautiful estates. Here is our wine agenda for June 2016!
On the Bordeaux side, two major events, the opening of the Cité du Vin, which should be the flagship of wine tourism in Gironde, but also Bordeaux Fête le vin which sees the whole city celebrating for 4 days. For the nostalgic, the Anjou vintage bike festival and for the sportsmen the Translayon. Finally, for lovers of nature and gourmet walks, the vines in Pic-Saint-Loup or the Bourgognes Gourmands, in more than 200 Parisian establishments to discover the best food and wine pairings of Burgundy in the style of a gourmet coffee.
9th edition of the music and wine festival at Clos Vougeot in Burgundy, which will take place from 17 to 26 June 2016. A double discovery, which offers its guests both an auditory pleasure thanks to an exceptional musical program but also a gustatory pleasure. Tastings are offered by the festival partners before each concert, which will take place in the winery, in the VIP lounge of Château du Clos Vougeot and in the cellars of Château de Meursault. Simply magical....
In a completely different vein, come and enjoy a Jazz concert on June 17 at the foot of the Château Soucherie. Discover the estate's wines, stroll through the vineyards and enjoy a sunset with a unique and breathtaking view of the Layon Valley. The quintet with its overflowing and communicative energy "The Swing Shouters" takes up the great jazz swing standards of the 30'40' to make you dance until nightfall....
Finally, we will try to preserve our heritage by participating in the aperitif concert at Château De Lastours on June 4, in order to raise funds for the preservation of the Gaillacois dovecotes.
Our opinion: A way to discover magnificent winegrowers and estates at your own pace, to music and above all... with a glass of wine in hand.

A unique cultural facility, it offers a journey around the world, through the ages, in all cultures and civilizations. A place to live, a place to go out, a place to discover, the Cité du Vin wants to invite its visitors to travel.
