Everything you've always wanted to know about wine but were afraid to ask.

If you are in a hurry

With a Couscous, we recommend :

A wine for every couscous

It is difficult to remember only one version of couscous, we all like them! So royal couscous, chicken couscous, sweeter couscous with lots of raisins... as many possible combinations as there are recipes. A royal couscous traditionally goes with a rosé wine, more specifically, a couscous with vegetables or a couscous with fish will be better accompanied by a fruity wine, generous and quite supple, because it does not have to compete with very strong tastes in couscous. The couscous with lamb brochettes and its spicy side will be ideal with a light, flowery rosé wine to soften the mouth.

The ideal appellations to accompany couscous

The rosé wines of Faugères in the Languedoc are to be preferred for a royal couscous, they will bring the essential sweetness to this spicy dish. Fish couscous and 7 vegetables will go perfectly with a Saint-Chinian wine, always in the Languedoc, while very spicy couscous such as lamb brochette couscous will go best with a very fresh Provence wine.

For red wine lovers, the powerful wines of the Côtes-du-Rhône, in the Rhone valley, will also be able to marry with the scents of couscous.
