Discover the Dentelles de Montmirail, the southern cachet of the Rhone Valley!

For this "Instant Vignobles de la Vallée du Rhône", Laetitia Allemand takes us to the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, an exceptional natural site which gives its character to the landscapes of the region but also to its wines.

In this idyllic environment, the vines tumble down the steep slopes in narrow benches as well as the gentle curves of the hillsides, to finally spread out at the foot of the majestic massif.

As a result, the vines benefit from a beautiful diversity of soils, whose unique character is directly linked to the geological curiosity of the Dentelles. There are 8 appellations of Rhone Valley wines, including Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Beaumes de Venise.

To sum up, the Dentelles de Montmirail are a varied playground for the winegrowers of the region, who always have some good surprises in store for us!
