What to drink with a vegetable pizza?

If you're going to put vegetables on a pizza to clear your conscience, you might as well accompany them with a glass of wine! If it's sometimes a headache to marry tomato sauce with red wine, here are a few recommendations for a successful wine pairing.

To avoid:

The tomato sauce and the vegetables will bring a lot of acidity that will have to be compensated for. We therefore avoid very fresh wines and red wines whose tannic structure will pay the price.

Our recommendations with pizza :

A fruity rosé wine without hesitation!
And for an offbeat evening, why not a rosé champagne?

In a nutshell:

One flirts in Roussillon, with the Clos des Vins d'Amour. A blend of Grenache Noir and Syrah which draws its beautiful red fruit aromas from the seductive terroirs of Tautavel and Maury. Lovers of spicy oil (to be drunk in moderation) will opt for a more structured wine; a rosé de Loire du Clos de Beugnon.

Those who will dare (and who won't regret it) will blow up Guy Charbaut's rosé brut premier cru champagne; jammy notes and a refined finish.

A table!
