Located 10km from Troyes in the town of Montgueux, the family estate extends over more than 7 hectares. All champagnes are made from old vines over 50 years old on grassy soils. Facing south, south-east on clay-limestone soils, this isolated and atypical islet produces unique chardonnays, rich in aromas of exotic fruits, which are kept for more than four years on slats before being sold.

Our story

Coming from a winegrower's family, I grew up in Troyes and went to Burgundy to study. At the end of my course I decided to travel, to enrich myself with new experiences abroad; South Africa, Mexico, the United States and New Zealand, Australia. For more than twenty years, I have been introducing professionals to the wonderful wines of Languedoc, but in 2008 I decided to take another turn, to make my dream come true: to vinify the pretty chardonnays of the family estate in Montgueux.

Other little stories

It was my grandfather, Léon Beaugrand, who fought alone to obtain the Champagne appellation for our magnificent Montgueux hill in 1927. I am part of a group of winegrowers called the Fa'Bulleuses de Champagne which brings together 7 winegrowers in champagne. We meet to talk about wine in general, to help each other and to organize joint events. We are a real team, convinced that unity is strength, our goal is to come together, live and share our passion: wine!
