Domaine Bernard Jomain

Domaine Bernard Jomain has 12 hectares of land in Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly and Beaujolais-Villages. Attached to the land and the environment, the winegrowers are committed to respecting them and working in harmony with nature. All the vintages of the domain are produced in a responsible way and the vineyard is certified High Environmental Value.

Our story

Born in the Beaujolais region, I fell into viticulture at a very young age... Set up in 1990 on a few plots of land in Brouilly, the Domaine now has 12 hectares of Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Beaujolais-Villages White, Rosé and Red. The plots of land for Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly are exclusively on hillsides, on very beautiful terroirs, while the vines producing the Beaujolais-Villages are on the lower slopes, on different terroirs, giving each of our cuvées the character and expression of its terroir, with the imprint of the winemaker...

After setting up in 1990 on sharecropping in Brouilly, I bought a parcel in Côte de Brouilly in 1992, then expanded the sharecropping... until the arrival of Patricia, my wife, in 1999, we then bought a parcel of Brouilly in 2005, a parcel of Beaujolais-Villages in 2008, as well as another parcel in Côte de Brouilly, before taking over other parcels on sharecropping, in Brouilly and Beaujolais-Villages. Our 2016 Beaujolais-Villages White "Cuvée des Trèfles" won a silver medal at the Chardonnay du Monde competition, while our "Rosé Maison" won a gold medal at the Féminalises...
