Producer in Anjou of the most beautiful appellations of the Loire Valley
Founded in 1951, the Caves de la Loire have become a key player in Anjou wines. Our know-how has been developed by combining tradition and modern technologies. In addition, we have a social responsibility on our territory. We have noticed that consumers are demanding good, safe and healthy products, with a justified price while taking into account the ecological realities that are present. This is why the company is evolving and participating in the Agri Confiance approach.
This approach allows for a quality and environmental management approach that is in line with the commitments of the Grenelle de l'environnement. This is the guarantee of an environmentally friendly approach through the prevention of natural resources, waste and input management, not to mention the reduction of environmental impacts. In parallel, the Caves de la Loire participate in the collective approach of wine producers called Vignerons Développement Durable.
As its name suggests, winegrowers are committed to sustainable development from vine to glass. This VDD approach is based on commitments, for which the cellars undertake actions that combine quality, food safety, working conditions, sustainability of farms and respect for the environment.
The 120 winegrowers who participate in the production of Caves de la Loire wines produce up to 105,000 hectolitres of wine per year.
