At Caves de la Loire, we control production from vine to glass. The cooperative is chaired by Régis Alcocer, who is elected at the Annual General Meeting for a 3-year term, and has a membership of 110 winegrower-suppliers. A recognized player in the Loire Valley since its creation in 1951, Les Caves de la Loire has positioned itself as the leading wine producer in its area. Why choose Les Caves de la Loire?- Immediate proximity to the Château de Brissac-Great diversity of Loire wines in the same place- Large parking lot for coaches- Two reception rooms- Professional team available from Monday to Saturday- Producer in Anjou of the finest Loire Valley appellations.
Founded in 1951, Caves de la Loire has become a key player in Anjou wines. We have developed our expertise by combining tradition and modern technology. What's more, we have a social responsibility to our region. We've noticed that consumers are demanding good, safe and healthy products, at a justifiable price, while taking into account the ecological realities that are present. This is why the company is evolving and participating in the Agri Confiance approach. This approach to quality and environmental management is in line with the Grenelle de l'environnement commitments. It guarantees a respectful approach to the environment through the prevention of natural resources, the management of waste and inputs, and the reduction of environmental impacts. At the same time, Les Caves de la Loire are taking part in the collective approach of wine producers known as Vignerons Développement Durable. As the name suggests, winegrowers are committed to sustainable development from vine to glass. The VDD approach is based on a series of commitments in which the wineries undertake actions combining quality, food safety, working conditions, long-term viability of their operations and respect for the environment.
The 120 winegrowers who participate in the production of Caves de la Loire wines produce up to 105,000 hectolitres of wine per year.
