The Betouzet family planted its first plot of vines in 1963 in Dormans, in the heart of the Marne Valley. Since then, the vineyards have been cultivated from father to son and each one has participated in their development. Today, on 7 hectares of vines, we cultivate the 3 Champagne grape varieties: pinot noir, meunier and chardonnay, thus offering us multiple possibilities for the creation of our blends.
I joined the family business in 2004 at the end of my studies. Following the retirement of my parents, I created my own brand. Champagne Anthony Betouzet was born in 2016. We offer top-of-the-range champagnes combining tradition & modernity with: Cuvées Essentielles: essential champagnes to have in your cellar for all types of tastings; and Cuvées Ephémères, in limited series: selective champagnes with original packaging for specific occasions.
To offer you the best of Champagne, we impose strict specifications on ourselves: we cultivate our vines by limiting the use of phytosanitary products (ploughing, installation of diffusers for sexual confusion), we harvest our grapes by selective sorting of the best bunches), we let all our vintages age on the lees for a minimum of 5 years and we manually stir all our bottles on traditional oak lecterns, we use premium quality corks made of natural cork, and we do our utmost to make each one of your tastings a moment of pleasure!
