The BETOUZET family planted their first parcel of vines in 1963 in Dormans, in the heart of the Marne Valley. Since then, the vines have been cultivated from father to son and everyone has participated in its development. Today, we cultivate on 7 hectares of vines the 3 Champagne grape varieties: pinot noirs, millers and chardonnays, thus offering us multiple possibilities for the realization of our blends.
I joined the family farm in 2004 at the end of my studies. Following my parents' retirement, I created my own brand: Champagne Anthony BETOUZET was born in 2016. We offer top-of-the-range champagnes combining Tradition & Modernity with: - Essential champagnes: essential champagnes to have in your cellar for all types of tastings, - Ephemeral champagnes, in limited series: selective champagnes with new packaging for specific occasions.
To offer you the best of Champagne, we impose strict specifications on ourselves: - We cultivate our vines by limiting the use of phytosanitary products: ploughing, installation of diffusers for sexual confusion... - We harvest our grapes by selectively sorting the best grapes... - We let all our vintages age on lees for a minimum period of 5 years and we manually stir all our bottles on traditional oak stands... - We use Premium quality corks in natural cork. We do our best to make each of your tastings a moment of pleasure!
