As independent winegrowers, we manage all stages of production at the estate, from the cultivation of our vines to the marketing of the bottles. We will be delighted to show you our traditional wine press, the vat room and our cellars when you walk to Chamery
.

Our story

Located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, in the village of Chamery, Champagne Bertrand-Delespierre was founded in 1980 by our parents, Chantal and Didier Bertrand, both daughters and sons of winegrowers.
Two generations now coexist on the estate since Adrien and I (Clémence) are in turn determined to perpetuate the tradition of our family of winegrowers
.

We work on nearly 10 hectares of family vineyards located in the communes of Chamery, Ecueil, Villedommange and Montbré, 4 villages among the 44 classified Premier Crus de

Champagne.

We take care of our vines and grapes, constantly improving our production tools and working methods, always with the aim of respecting our environment as much as possible and so that this quest for excellence results in champagnes of high quality and pure pleasure.

Other little stories

The three main grape varieties of Champagne are grown in our vineyard. Two black varieties: pinot noir and pinot meunier and one white variety: chardonnay. However, all of them offer a white juice when we squeeze them at home with our traditional press that you can discover in pictures.

Burgundy and champagne barrels are used for the fermentation and maturing of some of our wines. Like his grandfather and father, Adrien is particularly fond of half muids with a capacity of 600 litres. A story between the men in the family....

Didier has replaced his blending rosé for a few years now with a Rosé de Saignée, made from pinot noir only with carefully selected grapes during the harvest. This unique wine benefits from a skin maceration of several hours, fermentation and ageing in oak barrels which give it as much aroma as power. A rarity to discover absolutely!
