The 6 hectare estate extends over 10 communes, from the Côte des Blancs to the Marne Valley. This plurality of terroirs allows a selection of the best grapes and a diversity of blends. The production site is historically based in Fleury la Rivière. 3rd generation of manipulating harvesters and proud to be so, we are the only players in our Champagne. Since 2016 the estate has been run as a VDC (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne), we want to be as respectful as possible of nature and people, and our champagne offers infinite aromatic palettes, it is up to us to make you discover them. We offer a white white wine from Avize and Grauves, and a 100% Avize Grand Cru. Other special vintages will follow....

Our story

After careers in our respective fields, Vanessa and I decided to perpetuate the family home, in order to become the 3rd generation of winegrowers. The desire to undertake, back to nature, to make people discover champagne in a different way is there! By modernizing the family business, we have managed to preserve the traditional method of champagne production, while adding a contemporary touch to the kings' beverage. Our motto "Get off the beaten track".

Other little stories

Everything must be done with passion. The winegrower's profession is exciting in all its stages, from the work of the vine, to the elaboration of the champagne until its marketing. Our goal is to desecrate champagne to make it accessible to as many people as possible, without losing its nobility. You have to dare to be colourful, new and discover the small winegrowers who offer you the best of themselves every day, for their pleasure and yours.

We offer champagnes with very little or no dosage, both complex and uncomplicated, without artifices. If the beard does not make the philosopher, By Fernand displays and assumes his innovative colours while offering a champagne made according to ancestral recipes. By Fernand is a cocktail of tradition and modernity.
