Located in Epernay, we work with the three king varieties of Champagne: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. As a family, we cultivate the vines in the respect of the Champagne tradition. Since 2003 and thanks to the elaboration of quality champagne, we are referenced with the largest champagne houses in the Union des Maisons de Champagne (UMC). Bruno and Laurence bought the estate and passed on their passion to their children Manon and Guillaume. Today, the two women in the family develop wine tourism together when Guillaume and his father work in the vineyard. Recently, the cellar has been modernised with the installation of a thermoregulated stainless steel vat room with a small capacity. These new tools allow Bruno and Guillaume to work on the elaboration of ever finer and more precise champagne.
The Maison Charles Mignon, located in the capital of Champagne, is nestled along the Marne between hills and forests. Since 2003, it has been one of the few family-run houses to have the privilege of being part of the Union des Maisons de Champagne. In 1995, Bruno Mignon, great grandson of a winegrower and accompanied by his wife Laurence, decided to create the Maison Charles Mignon in order to perpetuate with passion and know-how the Champagne traditions. Together, they perpetuate this ancestral love of the vine and champagne wine.
When they were kids, Manon and Guillaume liked to play hide-and-seek in the vineyards. The brothers and sisters, after having spent their childhood in it, develop the activity of the property alongside their parents. The Bertemes family's common passion is cooking! It is an opportunity for us to meet around good little dishes, and to taste a good wine.
