Champagne Eric Taillet

The vineyard covers 5.70 hectares and extends over 6 communes around Baslieux-sous-Chatillon. A beautiful location in the heart of the great Marne Valley where Pinot Meunier reigns supreme, we also find Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which allow us to make blends for some of our vintages. Our soils, with a tendency towards marl, clay or sand, constitute a soil rich in nutrients, a real blessing for our vines.

Our story

Vine cultivation has always been present in the Taillet family, but the elaboration of Champagne began a little later. The vines were maintained to produce beautiful, healthy and quality grapes. It was not until Daniel Taillet that the first bottles were marketed. We are in 1961 and the Maison Taillet is born, the story is launched... it is in 1995 that Éric Taillet takes over from his father, continuing to cultivate his vines with respect, to maintain them in order to obtain exceptional harvests... Today, he has the chance to share this passion with his two children, the most beautiful reward.
