Located in the south of the Côte des Blancs, in Courjeonnet, a small village on the edge of the Saint Gond marshes in the Côteaux du Petit Morin, the vineyard is planted with Chardonnay (60%: the king grape variety), Meunier (20%) and Pinot Noir (20%). The vines benefit from a moderate oceanic climate and from a degraded continental climate
The story Winegrowers from father to son since the end of the 19th century, the members of the family have passed on their passion for vines and wine with a constant concern for quality, respect, tradition and environmental issues.
Etienne Chéré began marketing his products in the early 1980s. Today it is his three children who continue in his wake while taking into account the impact of practices that respect the soil and the vines. With this in mind, the farm has been certified HVE (High Environmental Value) and VDC (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne) since 2018.
