As a winegrower in Bouzy (grand cru), we are committed to producing high quality champagnes that reflect the character of Pinot Noir, and to do so, we set ourselves strict quality standards that ensure that we respect our terroir as much as possible. Our vines are cultivated according to the standards of the HVE label (high environmental value) and we sort the bunches before pressing to limit sulphites in our vintages as much as possible. Once the pressing is finished, we do not carry out malolactic fermentation and age our vintages in the cellar for twice the time required (3 years for extra brut and 6 years for the vintage).
Descendant of a Champagne family that has been cultivating vines since the 17th century, Lucien Collard finally realized his dream of creating his own champagne brand with the help of his godchild Auriane by marketing his first vintages in 2015. A simple range, an extra raw and a vintage, with a very strict quality charter and a packaging that pays tribute to the history of Champagne, a label inspired by 19th century codes.
Passionate about history and Bouzy, we look forward to bringing out our next vintages from the cellar, which will reveal other aspects of its pinot noir, as well as to opening soon our 19th century pickers' house, whose renovation we are continuing.
