Our family vineyard has been located in Villiers sous Châtillon for more than five generations. We cultivate our 14 hectares of vines located on the south-facing slopes which are spread over 6 communes in the surrounding area.
The vineyard's grape varieties are classic in the region: Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. We work the vineyard with respect for the environment and above all for the animal and plant species present in the vine. This is why we have been awarded the High Environmental Value Level 3 (HVE3) and Sustainable Viticulture label. We do not use pesticides or fertilizers, we have a rational water management and we maintain a strong biodiversity on our plots.
Following these principles, we are able to produce champagnes that express the soils on which our vines are planted. We offer amateurs of fine bubbles 9 vintages from rosé to zero dosage and the vintage.
The Robert family has been living in the Champagne region for 5 generations. Today, Sylvie and Régis, accompanied by their children Stéphanie and Aurélien, develop and perpetuate the activity in the vineyards and in the cellar.
In 1993, Régis and Sylvie created two new vintages to expand their champagne range. They will give the names of their children to these two new vintage vintages of 2014. The Stéphanie cuvée is represented by a very feminine bottle: it is a Blanc de Blancs that is both floral and fine with a beautiful golden colour. For the Jordan vintage, it is a blend of three grape varieties that has been chosen to give a fruity and powerful vintage, round on the palate with a more masculine style. The first vintages marketed of these two vintages were 1993 and 1995.
At Champagne Robert-Allait, we love nature! To continue its efforts to preserve the ecosystems present in the vineyard, the winegrower's family decided to set up hives on the estate. In March 2018, he inserted swarms of bees to preserve plant biodiversity on the estate. Bees play a key role in pollination of the flowers that make up the vineyard.
