The Champagne House is located a few kilometres south of Reims. The family business was taken over in 2006 by Olivier and Catherine. They take care of 6 ha of vines on 5 terroirs in the first growth of the Montagne de Reims and 1 in the Vallée de l'Ardre in certified Organic Agriculture. the soils are geologically varied (chalk, clay and limestone, silt, sand), the exposures are dominated by the plain and the mid-hills and allow our three grape varieties, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to express themselves fully.
The choice of independence led us to start marketing our champagnes in 2009 under the Solemme brand. Our sensitivity to nature constantly pushes us to modify our cultivation techniques. Certified organic viticulture since 2010 for our chardonnay, and 2015 for Pinots and Meuniers, we use biodynamic methods to increase the vitality of the soil and give our champagnes the character of our terroirs. Over the years, we have tried to improve these techniques to promote harmony between the vine and its natural environment. Our champagnes are made in our cellar and each cuvée receives special care to respect its balance between freshness, elegance and aromatic complexity. Our champagnes are vinified as simply as possible.
In order to highlight our various environmental actions within our farm, fertilization, water management and biodiversity, in addition to the certification in Organic Agriculture we have obtained the HVE certification (high environmental value).
