We have been in organic farming for almost 20 years, as soon as we took over the property in 1998. To respect the Nature that we will leave to future generations, we work our vineyard without pesticides and make our wine on the property in a natural way. In addition, we take into account the lunar cycle, both for the work in the vineyard and during the vinification and maturation of the wine. Our work has been rewarded with medals in various official competitions. In all our wines, our sulphite levels are very low (less than 10mg/L), and we also offer pure vintages, without added sulphites.
Our vineyard is located in the Entre Deux Mers region, at the gates of Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. Our 10 ha of vines are located on a plateau whose terroir is characterized by a thin layer of clay on limestone mother rock at Astéries. Facing due south, it is exposed to the prevailing winds. These specificities, combined with Organic Agriculture, without synthetic products (fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, pesticides), favour healthy fruit and wines of good intensity. We have been in organic farming since 1998.
In the past, our building offered hospitality for pilgrims going to Santiago de Compostela. It now offers guest rooms and welcomes wine lovers and enthusiasts for visits and tastings.
