Chateau Carsin

Château Carsin is a family vineyard located in Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux. We produce fresh white wines, fruity and full-bodied reds, delicious rosés and sweet wines. We have 9 grape varieties; Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Our 20ha vineyard is mainly clay-limestone. We take care to work our vines in the traditional way, our objective is always to produce the best quality grapes possible. Our harvest is harvested manually and a second sorting is then carried out in our cellars.

Our story

Château Carsin has been producing wine since the 19th century. In 1990, it was bought by the Finnish Berglund family. Juha Berglund is the general manager and now her daughter Nea Berglund has taken over the responsibility of the property. Like many northerners, this family has a great respect for nature and this is reflected in their daily work. Château Carsin started organic farming in 2003 and next year 2019, the vineyards will be converted to 100% organic.
