Our story

In 1590, the DURIEU family settled in Beaujolais as a ploughman. Over the centuries, the DURIEU descendants will take an active part in the development of the trade of this property. In 1991, Guy Durieu, the last of his branch to bear the name, died and left his property to his children. Since his son-in-law Philippe BONHOMME manages and operates 13 hectares of Beaujolais-Villages in the commune of Saint-Etienne la Varenne.

Other little stories

"Photographer in his first life, and winegrower since 1979. Life offers possibilities, and we have seized the opportunity to become a winegrower and produce our wine in Beaujolais. Always curious about what surrounds us, and especially about the world of wine, we learn every day... And we love it."

"With my wife, Nicole, we have chosen to practice sustainable cultivation, so we harvest each crop manually. If we had to choose a period that we particularly like, it would certainly be the magic of transforming the grape into wine, a phenomenon that is always a highlight of the year for us."
