The vineyard is located on the plains of the communes of Saint Sulpice de Faleyrens and Saint-Emilion. It is on this exceptional terroir that today, inhabited by a passion and love of wine, I take over the succession. The 12 hectares of vines produce Saint-Emilion and a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru from the traditional blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Château Flouquet INVICTUS is committed to a quality and environmental approach. Harvesting is entirely manual. The soils are worked in an eco-responsible way by ploughing in autumn and spring, which allows by oxygenation to feed the life of the living micro-organisms in this fabulous soil (sandy clay, gravel and iron dirt) By breaking the root system to bring it down in depth, we bring up the tastes and aromas of the soil in the grape, giving wines with a great personality, which gives Chateau Flouquet Invictus wines their unique, fruity and powerful taste.
As the third generation at the head of this château, my wish is to take the wines even further in their expression, to give them a remarkable identity, this type of project inevitably involves innovation. The latter will optimize the practices that I have re-established for the traditional ploughing of these sandy-clayey and iron dirty soils, in order to reveal the aromas and tastes of this terroir.
I invite you to come and discover this family estate for 3 generations. I produce a wine with a great personality with its tastes and aromas
