Château La Grave de Bertin

Behind our name lies our pride, our signature, much more than a family name. Today, this signature is affixed by two brothers with pure land blood: Maxime in the vineyards, Sébastien in marketing. Together, we have a common dream: to perpetuate the work of our elders, and develop the family property into an estate where life is good in the 21st century. At the head of the estate since 2009, but still with the help of our indefatigable parents, Yannick and Nadine, we have undertaken to rejuvenate our vintages and to develop our activities. A single master word: to mix our desires and those of the consumer. Our domain represents our history: a clever mix of tradition and modernism, symbol of a work of passion.

Our story

What do we want? A BORDEAUX THAT IS NOT AFRAID OF BEING COMPLICATED! When do we want it? NOW ! This could be a slogan for a demonstration, but it is our credo :) So don't panic, we don't want to lose anyone along the way and especially not what has made the strength of our region and our family. But Bordeaux also knows how to be innovative and uninhibited and we want to show it. A double vision for two ranges of wines so that everyone can find something to their liking: the traditional Bordeaux where history rhymes with terroir, and the modern Bordeaux where novelty rhymes with simplicity! On the one hand, CHÂTEAU LA GRAVE DE BERTIN. Our family heritage, produced with passion since 1895, in AOC Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur. A historic, rich and traditional Bordeaux. On the other side, GENTLEMAN VIGNERON. A single-varietal range in the Bordeaux appellation that is not afraid to break the codes! A modern, festive and easily accessible Bordeaux.
