Located at the top of a hillside on the Coteaux des Bordeaux, on the banks of the Garonne, the Moncho-Yung estate is made up of Châteaux Laronde and Lapeyrère. A welcoming property, with robust wines whose history is rooted in the village and which has seen 3 generations of the family succeed one another. Driven by the same passion as my father, I decided to take over the management of the property in 1997. I am committed to producing an authentic wine that looks like me. I try to breathe this feminine touch into our work on a daily basis.
In 1998, I undertook a complete renovation of the cellar. A few years later all our stainless steel tanks are thermoregulated.
In 2011, Château Laronde 2010 won the silver medal at the 2012 Bordeaux Wine Competition. In
2012 our Bordeaux 2011 also won the gold medal at the same competition, history repeats in 2013
. 2014 the Gold Medal was even awarded to Château Laronde by Messrs Gilbert & Gaillard.
