Our story

The history of Chateau Les Mailleries with the Castaing family is recent. It is in 2016 that Fabien Castaing falls under the charm of this small property cultivated in Bio on a Clay and Limestone plateau oscillating between 130 and 150m of altitude. Since then, he has been convinced of one thing: to produce great Bergerac wines.

Other little stories

Fabien Castaing comes from a family of winegrowers for 5 generations and took over the family property of Domaine de Moulin-Pouzy in 2008. The acquisition of Château Les Mailleries in 2016 is part of this winegrower's DNA. Concerned about the respect of his terroir and to produce the most beautiful grapes, organic farming is a matter of course. These wines reflect the expression of the soils and the (optimal) maturity of the grape varieties.
