The domain's short story
We have been working in organic vineyards for more than 30 years and have just registered the 2018 harvest in organic conversion.Certified HVE (Exploitation à Haute Valeur Environnementale) since 2015, our wines are made with a controlled level of sulfite.
The winemaker's pride
Located in the Entre-deux-Mers region, 70 kms south-east of Bordeaux, Château Les Maubats remains a family property on a human scale, with its 8 hectares of red grape varieties (planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc) and its 2 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc. With Anne, we manage the vineyard in conversion to organic farming, giving priority to manual work (including hand harvesting), vinify in a traditional way and market the 5 cuvées we offer (1 dry white, 1 rosé, 3 reds)
