Château Ogier de Gourgue

Château Ogier de Gourgue is located 20 kilometers from the center of Bordeaux in the commune of Saint Caprais de Bordeaux. Here, the exposure is perfect since the vines are located on a high plateau of the Côtes de Bordeaux. The vineyard is composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Our story

Built in the 17th century by Ogier de Gourgue, the estate was originally a hunting lodge. Then his eldest son, Marc Antoine took over the queens of the estate and transformed this place of reunion into a wine estate. Since then, the chateau has gone from owner to owner...In 2010, after falling in love with the vineyard, Jean-Marc VINCENT and his wife decided to buy Ogier de Gourgue. Their daughter, Claire, joins them in the adventure in 2012. At the age of 28, they questioned everything and left the hectic pace of Parisian life to devote themselves to the family project. After starting my career in the world of luxury and cosmetics, I am now putting all my heart into learning the hard work of a winegrower. Father and daughter, let's share our personal and professional experiences in order to make the most of our terroir. Our leitmotiv: excellence!
