A symbol of elegance and refinement, Trianon, in reference to the small Trianon of Versailles, also means Earth. The land of Château Trianon is located southwest of Saint-Emilion, where its traces can be traced back to the 17th century. Legend has it that a secretary of Louis XIV had the castle built and named it "Trianon" in memory of Versailles. Since the 2000s and the acquisition of the estate by Dominique Hébrard, the objective has been simple: to restore this magnificent property to its former glory. Magnificently located between the city of Libourne and Saint-Emilion, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as a cultural landscape, Trianon is part of the historical universe of the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru vineyards of the Saint-Emilion appellation, it is located on the southwestern plateau of the appellation.

Our story

Dominique Hébrard has always been committed to promoting quality over quantity. In Trianon, the cultivation of the soil is inspired by the traditional farming practices common to the best Bordeaux wines. The vineyard benefits from 100% ploughing and grassing of the soil. Similarly, the control and monitoring of yields through disbudding, thinning and leaf thinning are essential to achieve a better quality of ripening of the grapes and optimal concentration... It is during the harvest that the work of perfection and selection presents the most intransigent sorting to choose only the best.
