J'achète plutôt du Haut médoc ou du grave , mais ce bordeaux supérieur , est un grand vin. Je suis même étonné de sa puissance , c'est vrai il m'a surpris et j'en commanderait bientôt. Félicitations et salutation

rapport qualité/prix excelent. boisé, fruité, velouté et puissant. Lors de repas entre amis on peut se gargariser de sortir des saint émilion, moi c'est sans complexe que je propose ce bordeaux supérieur signé Vermont ! vous l'aurez compris je suis conquis... (cuvée prestige ou grande cuvée)

Anecdotes about the domain

Thanks to a daily work in the vineyard and in the winery, our Rosé and our Entre-Deux-Mers are among the best vintages of the AOC (2 stars in the Guide Hachette, several times gold medalist). The history of Vermont was also re-launched when the Grande Cuvée made its entry into the top 15 of the best Bordeaux Supérieur by the Gault & Millau guide. Today we manage the VERMONT property, with the objective of making it reach the level of excellence it had in the past, the same one that made it be cited as one of the first growths of the whole Entre Deux Mers in the 3rd edition of the Férêt in 1874", tell us, Elisabeth and David

The domain's short story

Elisabeth took over the family property after having specialized in viticulture and oenology studies. Openness has always been one of her assets and she now wishes to take back in hand the destiny of her family history. With David her husband, they attack in 2011 the renovation work in VERMONT. To produce a great wine, the winemaker also needs good vines and good tools. A winery is essential to make the wines they dream of.

The winemaker's pride

Born from the vision of Elisabeth and David Labat, a wind of change is blowing over Château Vermont. 4th generation winemakers, these two enthusiasts are taking the estate by the hand in 2010, restructuring the vineyard by densifying the planting, carefully choosing their vines. To complete the range of red and rosé Bordeaux wines, they planted white grapes again. They favor and direct their attention to the work of the plots, the adequacy of the soil and the vegetative. They finally reach an optimum quality to bring the aromatic complexity to their wines. This Chateau, which is classified in the Bordeaux Supérieur and Entre-Deux-Mers Haut-Benauge appellations, is on the way to regaining its rank as the first Entre-Deux-Mers growth of 1874.
