We are based in Aléria, a small town on the east coast of Corsica, facing Italy. We cultivate a 9 hectare vineyard that is in conversion to organic farming. We produce our wines in the Corsica and Vin de France appellations.

The grape varieties in our vineyard are formerly French: Merlot was king when we arrived. We have completely restructured the vineyard and the Merlot to give way to Niellucciu, Vermentinu, Carcajolu Neru or Sciaccarellu. These varieties are more frequently found in Italy.

On the cellar side, we use different winemaking tools. Stainless steel tanks, casks (wooden) and amphoras are complementary in the post-harvest process. Christian, the young winegrower of the estate, works in modernity while respecting and using the know-how and tools of his predecessors.

Our story

Christian Esteve followed his father for a long time in the vineyard and in the cellars before taking over the estate's activity in 2010. After 40 years of sleep, the family cellar was reborn from its ashes and was completely modernised by the young winegrower: stainless steel tanks, bottling at the estate or even a pneumatic press.

The Corsican winegrower is very close to his family who supports him in his resumption of activity. He pays tribute to them by giving the names of his son and grandfather to his first vintages "Le Rosé des Pierres" and "Le Rouge des Pierres". He then developed a whole range around the Clos Canereccia in white, pink and red: the machine was launched.

Christian will finally have created a whole range that represents the Corsican terroir. He tried his hand at amphora vinification and gave the name of this container to his new range. In 2019, his latest daughter, "La Cuvée Sophie", his wife's name, was born with fruit and sunny aromas.

Other little stories

Here, we vinify certain vintages in amphora: the opportunity to give the grapes the opportunity to express themselves fully, without filter. Indeed, it is the natural side that Christian is looking for by not adding any SO2 during this stage of wine making.
