We have been producing organic and natural method wines for 20 years. Our Belesta terroir is composed of granitic soils and altitudes from 4 to 600m. In fact, our wines are generally around 12.5% and have a minerality and freshness characteristic of the organic terroirs of the Fenouillèdes between the Agly and Tèt valleys. Our harvest is manual and the final total SO2 is generally less than 30mg/L. Our project is the story of an encounter with a magnificent terroir, the choice from the very beginning of 100% organic agriculture and the desire to give priority to finesse and elegance over strength and concentration. On a daily basis, it is also to be in contact with a wild, beautiful and sometimes harsh nature, an incomparable light that gives us the energy to surpass ourselves and the desire to be better.
We fell in love with the mineral world of Fenouillèdes, the beauty of the landscapes, its harshness, the diversity and quality of the soils. In order to make the most of this richness, our best decision was to choose organic farming from the moment the estate was established in 2000.
To make wine is to learn and understand another language. An ancient language but full of life that must be constantly relearned or you will not be able to read it.
