(63) Puy-de-Dôme

Our vineyard is located in Auvergne, in the centre of France, in the middle of the volcanoes. We cultivate a 10 hectare vineyard that is planted on the remains of a basalt flow. Our wines are produced in the Côtes d'Auvergne appellation, which is not known in France but very interesting thanks to the richness of the soils on which the vines are planted.

Our vines, facing due south, take full advantage of the richness of the volcanic soils enriched by the remains of the basalt flow. With my husband Michel, for more than 25 years, we have been pioneers in the cultivation of grape varieties such as Chardonnay or Pinot Noir in our region, whereas until now Gamay was the king grape variety.

Since 1987, we have been maturing all our wines in oak barrels to bring out the maximum richness of our terroir when tasting the wines.

Our story

Over the years, Annie and Michel have modernized their production equipment by building a new wine cellar, a bottling unit, a barrel cellar and a contemporary tasting cellar.

Today, at a time when all tastes tend to standardize, Annie has chosen to produce sincere wines with a personality beyond the vintages. It does not claim to be perfect every year but to have an undeniable constant quality that has enabled it to receive 2 Excellence Awards awarded by the Paris General Agricultural Competition.

It welcomes you through many winegrower activities that it organizes all year round with different themes according to the seasons: introduction to pruning, open door, summer tasting stroll in the vineyard, picnic winegrower.......

Other little stories

Annie, since 2007, has been writing history and what it is like to be a winegrower. Indeed, through her blog "Les journées d'une vigneronne", she explains the know-how of this exciting profession that she lives from day to day.
