Our winery is located in Auvergne, in the centre of France, in the middle of the volcanoes. We cultivate a 10 hectare vineyard which is implanted on the remains of a basaltic flow. Our wines are produced on the Côtes d'Auvergne appellation, which is not known in France but is very interesting thanks to the richness of the soil on which the vines are planted.
Our south-facing vines take full advantage of the richness of the volcanic soils enriched by the remains of the basaltic flow. For more than 30 years, we have been pioneers in the cultivation of grape varieties such as Chardonnay or Pinot Noir in our region, whereas until now Gamay was the king grape variety.
Since 1987, we have been maturing all our vintages in oak barrels to bring out the maximum richness of our Terroir when tasting our wines.
Over the years, Annie has modernised its production facilities by building a new winery, bottling unit, barrel cellar and a contemporary tasting cellar.
Today, at a time when all tastes tend to become standardized, Annie has chosen to make sincere wines with a personality beyond the vintages. She does not claim perfection every year, but an undeniable constant quality which has enabled her to receive 2 Excellence awards from the Concours Général Agricole de Paris.
It welcomes you through numerous winegrowers' events that it organises all year round with different themes depending on the season: introduction to pruning, open house, summer tasting walk in the vineyard, winegrower's picnic ...............................................................................
Annie, since 2007, has been writing history and what it is like to be a winegrower. Indeed, through her blog "Les journées d'une vigneronne", she explains the know-how of this exciting profession that she lives from day to day.
