The winemaker's pride
Our winery is located in the Auvergne region of central France, in the middle of volcanoes. We cultivate a vineyard of 10 hectares which is implanted on the remains of a basaltic flow. Our wines are produced in the Côtes d'Auvergne appellation, which is not known in France but is very interesting because of the richness of the soils on which the vines are planted. Our vines, facing south, take full advantage of the richness of the volcanic soils enriched by the remains of the basaltic flow. For more than 30 years, we have been pioneers in the cultivation of grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in our region, whereas until now, Gamay was the king grape variety. Since 1987, we have been maturing all of our vintages in oak barrels in order to bring out the richness of our Terroir to the fullest extent possible when tasting our wines.
