The domain's short story
Today Laurent & Paul BOTT - father and son - manage the estate and take care of the vineyard as well as the vinification of the wines. They are supported by a motivated and passionate team of 8 people, including Nicole and Gladys, their respective wives, who take care of the national and international commercial part. Since last autumn, our external team headed by Laurent and Paul BOTT, have started the organic conversion of the whole estate to be even more in line with our philosophy, our environment and the biodiversity in our vineyards. A new challenge for the Domaine, which motivates us all on a daily basis.
The winemaker's pride
Winegrowers from father to son since 1835, the BOTT FRERES estate is located in Ribeauvillé on the Alsace wine road in the heart of the Alsace vineyards. We offer all 7 Alsatian grape varieties, as well as Crémants - Grands Crus - Vendanges Tardives and Sélection de Grains Nobles. Our vines are mainly located on the sunny slopes of Ribeauvillé and on four Grand Crus: Osterberg, Geisberg, Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé and Gloeckelberg. The grapes are harvested by hand. The soils are essentially marl, calcareous and sandstone. Thanks to the respect of the environment and the controlled yields, the wines express a beautiful freshness, a nice balance and minerality.
