We are a family estate located in the heart of the village of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. Our 20 hectares of Cabernet Franc vines are between 35 and 90 years old. Our vineyard is divided into more than 40 parcels, benefiting from multiple terroirs. Thanks to our sandy-gravelly soils, we produce "Traditional", supple and light; while with our clayey-limestone soils, we produce "Les Clos", structured and powerful. Sometimes grassed, sometimes worked we lead our vines with the simple objective of having the most beautiful harvest possible!

Our story

First employed since 2003, I took over the estate with my mother in 2011. My retired father, always in his work clothes, is never far away. We are not really leaving the business, which is in fact a mixture of intense moments; dramatic for the 1991 freeze or exceptional for the 2005 vintage. Today, I rely on their experience to continue to develop the estate both for the quality and diversity of the wines and for their recognition.

Other little stories

We have always been immersed in the environment and we can't imagine doing anything else later. As a teenager, when we say that we are the son of a winegrower, without overdoing it, we see in our friends a certain respect in their eyes! It is only after that, when you are in charge of your field, that you realize how lucky and dedicated you have to be to do this job. From 2003, my first harvest to today, we put the same passion into doing our work and yet no two vintages are alike. That's what our business is all about!

The good times spent around a bottle with friends or even with new acquaintances are many today as they will be tomorrow. In these moments, using a precise vocabulary to describe the wines, to talk about the man who made them or to describe the terroir is very interesting. But at some point, you have to go beyond the "dream" and copiously empty your glass of good wine. That's a good conclusion to a lot of words!
